PokerRoom is the first online poker room to offer such a thing and it's a very exciting concept sure to be a big hit within the online poker community. Team Play is the hot new way of playing Tournament Poker. Instead of playing against your friends, you can now play alongside them and really prove how good you are. Team Play is fun, competitive and can improve your game significantly with a little help from your team mates.



The Basics

To get started in Team Play is easy; all you need to do is follow these 5 easy steps:

1. Join or Create a Team
2. Recruit members to your team
3. Transfer funds to your Team balance
4. Register for an event
5. Meet Them and Beat Them!

The Team Play events are designed so that you will never be at the same table as a fellow Team mate which removes any collusion problems.

Team play works in that you register to an Online Pocker event as a team of players. The number of tournaments your team will play depend on the number of rounds and players/round set up for that event.

For example, in a 5 player/round event, you will have 1 different player from your team in 5 different tournaments for each round. If there are 10 teams registered for the event, then there will 10 players in each of the 5 tournaments. The number of rounds played can be from one upwards with each round being played at a different time. This is specified on the event page.

Depending on where you finish as an individual in your tournament will determine how many points your team is awarded for each round. There is also an individual payout for each tournament for those that finish top. The points are calculated for the whole event, and the payout is based on the best teams. Join

Use our Find Team feature to search for an existing team or go through the list of Teams manually to find one that suits you. Use the Only Teams open for applicant’s Online Casino Roulette checkbox to find only teams accepting new members.

Click apply for membership on the teams Online Poker Guide page to apply to that team. You will either be accepted immediately or a message will be sent to the Team manager who will accept or decline your application in due course.

Create

So you think you have what it takes to manage your own Team?

Creating a Team is easy. Simply Online Poker Reviews click on the Create Team button and enter an available Team name. Note that you can change the Team Slogan and description of the Team through your Team profile page once the Team is created. You cannot change your Team name.

Recruiting

Transfer Funds

You can transfer funds to your team account directly from your Team Profile page by clicking on the dollar amount next to your nickname or through Linux Casino the dedicated Team Cashier page under My Team. Register for an Event

All of the Team Play events can be found under the Events page. Click the name of the Event to find out more details. Any member of the team Free Online Poker Guide can suggest an event to the whole team. This will show up in the suggested events section of your team’s pages. Once suggested the event is open to registration for the team members.

When there is enough players registered (must be at least the number of players/round for the event) the team manager completes the registration by registering the team and the required buy in amounts for each player are deducted. The manager has until 120 minutes before the start of the event to register the team. Seating players can be done manually up until 90 minutes Poker Professionals before the start of the round or you can let the system randomly seat your team.

Meet Them and Beat Them

The Team manager can seat the players in the team Free Online Casino Game for a specific round or let the Auto Seating feature take place by not assigning any seating. Open up the Tournament lobby from the game client and get ready for your tournament to begin. Prizes will be paid out according to the payout structure on the Event page.
